what to wear to my prom?
Hello there! How are you all?
I'm a portuguese girl who's having her prom this friday. I have a purple strapless fitted dress. Like a pencil skirt but with a top incorporated.
It's something like this http://img2.timeinc.net/people/i/2007/stylewatch/blog/071203/tori_spelling_300x400.jpg but not so puffy on the bottom.
It's not going to be the all american prom with lots of evening gowns and all that stuff. It's quite small and almost casual. I'm an art student so I tend to be a bit funky and "original" on the way I dress. Lots of contrasting colors and weird garments.
Now, I'm having a job trying to figure out what shoes and accessories to wear with it.
I'd like some flat shoes or sandals. I'm also wondering if it would look good with some kind of belt.
If you have any ideas on colors/shoes/accessories that go with it or just look plain funky let know.

A purple dress sounds awesome, if I were you, I would wear a pair of black heels or flats that lace up the legs, and as for a belt, it would be awesome if you wore like a neon green belt with it, or any bright colored belt, wear it hung low on the hips, and also you could wear a random colorful necklace of your choice =) you can find stuff like that at hot topic in the accessories =)
